Faso's HQ Burgled

The New York City campaign headquarters of Republican gubernatorial candidate John Faso were burgled the weekend after the election. According to police, 10 computers that were only about a year old were taken from the office, at 885 Second Avenue between 47th and 48th streets, during the weekend of Nov. 11 and 12. There were no signs of forcible entry, cops said.

A spokeswoman for the defeated candidate confirmed the theft. “We are currently working with the 17th Precinct Detective Squad,” said Susan Del Percio, adding that they think the break-in probably occurred on Sunday.

Stolen items included nine desktop computers and one laptop. In all, $6,868 worth of equipment was reported stolen.
